What is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that have been identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is quickly becoming more ans more popular among the masses for having a wide range of benefits – due to clinical studies and research data showing little to no side effects and a lack of psychoactivity (typically associated with marijuana usage and with high THC levels).

The Endocannabinoid System

Cannabidiol also known as CBD is one of the main beneficial compounds found in hemp, and unlike THC, it is not psychoactive, so it doesn’t effect the body and make you high. Inside the human body there’s a pathway called the endocannabinoid system, with receptors spread throughout. When these receptors are activated, they allow two-way communication between body systems; something previously thought to be impossible.
